- Design and Size: It has compact dimensions of 8 mm (W) x 23.1 mm (H) x 12 mm (D).
- Supply Voltage (UB): It operates on 10 to 30 V, DC power.
- Outputs and Connections: It features transistor switching outputs and offers connection types including cable, cable with M8 connector, or cable with M12 connector.
- Robustness: The housing is made of plastic and provides a degree of protection of IP 67.

Retro-reflective Photoelectric Sensor:
- Minimum/maximum operating range limit: 0.07 m to 4 m.

- Operational controls: 270° potentiometer.
Energetic Diffuse Sensor:
- Minimum/maximum operating range limit: 0 m to 0.7 m.
- Light source: Red LED.
- Switching frequency: 500 Hz.

Diffuse Sensor with Background Suppression:
- Minimum/maximum operating range limit: 0.001 m to 0.06 m.
- Light source: Red LED.

The 2 series also supports the "Small light spot (S)" function.
