Safety locking devices

The L300 is a model of Safety locking devices that belongs to the "Safety" product range.

Description and Explanation

The L300 is an Interlock device with guard interlocking, which means it ensures a guard (like a door) remains locked until the machine or hazard has stopped, or conversely, prevents the machine from starting until the guard is securely locked.

It is certified for use in safety applications up to the highest safety levels: Performance Level (PL) e / SIL 3 with a single device.

Key characteristics of the L300 include:

  • Actuation: It uses a mechanical tongue with an RFID-encoded actuator in accordance with EN ISO 14119. This high level of encoding (AC-L300-UCA: high) offers maximum protection against manipulation.
  • Locking Mechanism: The locking type can be either Electromagnetic or Spring force. The operating principle supports both Power to lock (actuator locked if electromagnet is activated) and Power to release (actuator locked if electromagnet is deactivated).
  • High Locking Force: The L300 provides a maximum locking force of 9,750 N.
  • Actuator Flexibility: The actuator is flexibly mounted, which enables secure closing even if the doors are warped. It also features a large center opening for the actuator shaft.
  • Installation Options: The L300 offers variable installation options, including flexible and independent alignment of the device head and escape release. It also supports optional door handles for simple mounting of switches and actuators.
  • Special Functions: This device can be ordered in models that include integrated command and E-Stop buttons.
